• The final FY25 NDAA authorized $895 billion for Pentagon spending. This includes funding for the Department of Defense, as well as $33 billion for nuclear programs within the Department of Energy. The GOP majority also once again decided to use this bill in order to attack LGBTQIA+ (particularly trans) rights and women's reproductive health rights, leading to another vote almost entirely along party lines. Passed 217-199.
