This amendment repeals the restriction on funding for the Preparatory Commission for the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization. The restriction limits opportunities for U.S. experts to develop key verification capabilities, especially during a time when we need to strengthen our global nuclear security architecture, not restrict it. It passed 216-209.
