This amendment by Rep. Jared Moskowitz (D-FL) prohibits international affairs funding for the State Department to cite statistics obtained from the Gaza Health Ministry. This prevent the citation of all death and injury statistics that come from the Gaza Health Ministry, which is the most well-positioned agency to report on these numbers. In essence, this was a push to deny genocide and gross violations of human rights law. Passed 269-144.
