Attend a public hearing on nuclear weapons

Starting in February, the Department of Energy will be holding public hearings on Complex Transformation, its plan to revamp the nuclear weapons complex, which is closely linked with the Reliable Replacement Warhead program to update the nuclear arsenal.  The first round of hearings in late 2006 saw overwhelming opposition to the plan, with the public offering alternatives that put the US in a position of global leader for nuclear nonproliferation.

The hearings are an opportunity to show the groundswell of public opposition to this plan, and stand up in front of your neighbors, the Department of Energy and the media to share an alternative message of moving toward a nuclear free world.  Here is the schedule for the hearings:
