Oct 2 Lincoln Memorial at 11 AM

On Oct 2, hundreds of thousands (yes, more than at the Glenn Beck rally!) will be at the Lincoln Memorial for One Nation Working Together (ONWT).

Peace Action members and their communities will be coming from all across the country including Hawaii!

After the rally ends, join Peace Action for Happy Hour at Capitol City Brewing – 2 blocks from Metro Center stop on the Red Line, 1100 New York Ave NW, Washington, DC 20005 Map: http://bit.ly/bsNhHq

On Oct 2, come to the Peace Action table # 41: Our table, #41, will be located in the ONWT literature table area. This is in Zone 6 North, and it is close to the corner of 17th St. and Constitution Ave NW. There will be signs directing people to Zone 6 North/Event Tables. Map: http://bit.ly/dA9PUB Pick up Peace Action as well as Peace Table posters and literature for use on your buses on the ride home.

We need your help!

Peace Action and over 90 peace groups in the ONWT Peace Table. have printed tens of thousands of posters, leaflets and stickers we want to share with people coming from around the country to make it clear: “Jobs not War!”

To volunteer, come to the  Peace Action Table #41:

– Check in between 8:30 and 9 AM

– Also check in at this location later as well

– Volunteers will get materials to distribute at specific locations

– Volunteers who sign up to distribute materials at the Metro stops should NOT check in but instead go right to their assigned stops.

Let’s make sure the media gets the message straight, by handing out tens of thousands of leaflets and posters that say:

Bring Our Troops and War Dollars Home

Funds Jobs, Not War

End War, Rebuild America

End the Wars in Iraq and Afghanistan – Bring Our War Money Home
