Million Doors for Peace

Already tens of thousands from across the country have signed up to take their country back one door at a time.  You can join them by signing up here.

We’ve created a bunch of materials for you to use on September 20^th; one page handouts on all of the issues you care about from the occupation of Iraq to the abolition of nuclear weapons.  They’ll help you talk to your neighbors about these issues in a way that relates to your lives.  You are free to print, copy and distribute these to your neighbors as part of Million Doors or at a debate watching party.

We hope you’ll take advantage of this unique campaign.  It’s never been so easy for you to involve yourself on a national level.  Peace Action has joined with other leaders in the peace movement to amplify our voice and connect our work.  Groups participating in Million Doors for Peace include Catholics United, Cities for Peace, CodePink, MoveOn.org, Pax Christi USA, Progressive Accountability, Progressive Democrats of America, United for Peace and Justice, USAction & TrueMajority.org, Voters for Peace and Win Without War.

Combined, the coalition boasts a membership in the millions and hundreds of state and local affiliates.  We’re making our statement on September 20^th – will you make yours?
